Dr. Cecilia Yu is originally a Hong Kong native turned Chicagoan. She received her college education at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a major in Biology and a minor in Chemistry.
It was during her college years when she met her mentor Dr. E who had explained with simplicity of the fact that with interference, nerves cannot fire their message to and from the brain; leading to dysfunction of body organs. Healing occurs within the body by the removal of this interference. What a beautiful simple philosophy to live by. This was when she decided to change the lives of many by becoming a spinal care specialist. She graduated from Parker College of Chiropractic in 2008 and has been privileged to train with world renowned NUCCA Board certified doctor, Dr.Dickholtz Jr. and the guidance of many within the NUCCA organization. She has yet to miss a NUCCA conference in the goal of perfecting the art of NUCCA to better serve her patients. Currently, Dr. Cecilia Yu is the only certification candidate in Dallas-Fort Worth.
Dr. Yu is certified in Acupuncture and she also holds a certification in Applied Kinesiology. She knows the importance of neurology as it links with muscles and the spinal column to the central nervous system. The combination of pure balance from NUCCA and energy work from acupuncture and applied kinesiology makes this clinic, Synergy Balance, a one stop shop for many who are seeking a minimally invasive care to correct what others have missed and treat what others cannot.
